Hadassim MUN was held on October 10, 2018 in Even Yehuda. The theme was Technology. 150 students competed in 5 committees, addressing technology as it affects sports, unmanned weapons, global development, outer space, and health. Read more about the conference here.

QASMUN 2018 was held on February 27 in Baqa Al-Gharabiya. The conference theme was Children in Conflict Zones. 250 students in 6 committees covered Yemen; Pakistan; Child Soldiers; Rohingya; Youth Education, and Designing a Binational Curriculum for Peace (Israel-Palestine). TamraMUN took place on December 14, 2017 and focused on independence movements. The conference included students from Israeli and Palestinian cities, and discussed Catalonian, Kurdistan, Palestinian, and Kosovan independence movements, as well as micronations. BashaerMUN took place in Sakhnin on November 2, 2017, and highlighted the challenges of the 21st century: cybersecurity; migration; violent extremism; drones; social media and education; the far right in Europe; cryptocurrencies, and lone wolf terrorism. NahdaMUN was held on July 17, 2017 in Kufr Qara. 80 students from more than a dozen schools and cities around Israel discussed various topics related to religion. We also hosted a number of guests from abroad at the conference. Read more about the conference here.

Debate for Peace also helped lead the first ever Arab-Jewish youth MUN delegation abroad in Israeli history, run in partnership with QSchool! Seven Israeli delegates received awards or Honorable Mentions at the conference. Read more here.

Our previous conference was held on February 26, 2017, in Modi’in, with 150 students from more than 15 schools and cities around Israel. The conference addressed issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Read about the conference here and here.

QASMUN 2017 was held on January 18, 2017, in Baqa al-Gharabiya, with 150 students from more than 15 schools and cities around Israel. The conference addressed issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Read about the conference here and here.

PEACEMUN was held on November 20, 2016, in Jerusalem with students from more than ten schools around Israel. The students addressed the conflicts in Afghanistan and Somalia. Read about the conference here.
