Debate for Peace joined the Writers Matter program in November 2023, as we explored ways to support and empower students facing displacement and trauma from ongoing armed conflict. With the support of Writers Matter founder Professor Bob Vogel, the partnership has since grown tremendously, including youth from all over Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, and other countries and regions, multiple books, speaking tours, teacher training, student workshops, writing competitions, and more.
